Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years you will undoubtedly have heard of the Apple iPhone. This multimedia smartphone has the ability to seamlessly connect to the internet through a WiFi connection. Apple provides a huge number of applications that can be downloaded via the built in ‘safari’ web browser, or through the itunes client on a PC. New applications specifically for the iPhone and the new Ipod touch come out almost daily, adding a rich and growing functionality to an already high specification smartphone. The most recent model released in July 08 uses the much faster data transfer speeds offered by 3G and the built in assisted GPS, which adds to the useability of this great phone.
